Tibet


The Tibet Autonomous Region is located in the southwestern border of the People's Republic of China, which is the southwest of the Tibetan Plateau, between east longitude 78 ° 25 'to 99 ° 06' and north latitude 26 ° 44 'to 36 ° 32'. Tibet is famous for its magnificent natural scenery. She is vast in territory with spectacular landforms and rich in resources.

Tibet is a distant and mysterious place in the minds of many people. They eager to go sightseeing, but fear plateau hypoxia and road risk. In fact, Tibet becomes Chinese domestic unique tourist destination with her amazing natural scenery, the unique characteristics of religious and honest folk customs. The Potala Palace is commonly known as the second “Mount Putuo”, which is a grand scale castle-style building standing in the Redhill where the northwest of Tibetan capital of Lhasa urban. Initially the construction of the Potala Palace is to celebrate the marriage of Songtsen and Princess Wen Cheng. After the reconstruction of the 17th century, the Potala Palace became the Winter Palace accommodation of the Dalai Lamas and the Tibetan theocracy Center. The whole palace built on mountains with distinctive Tibetan style and magnificent momentum. The Potala Palace is also collected countless treasures and called a palace of art.



Jokhang Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery which is located in Lhasa's old city center. It was built in the Tang Dynasty 21 year (647 years), Zao Songtsan built to commemorate Foot Statue Princess came into Tibet. Then the Jokhang Temple experienced several generation of repairs and additions, it became the formation of huge buildings. The Jokhang Temple history dating back more than 1350, it is a national key cultural relics protection units and has a supreme position in Tibetan Buddhism.
